Cocktails, food, live reggae, and great prizes on the harbor - all for a good cause!
Kick off the Summer of 2010 the right way, on the best booze cruise of the year.
Thursday June 17th from 5:30-9:00 PM, the Impact Initiative is hosting a 3 hour harbor cruise, whose proceeds all go to a great cause. We will be sailing on the Provincetown II for 3 hours, jamming to the tunes of Conscious Reggae Band, acclaimed as Boston's #1 reggae fusion band (a creative and unique fusion of classic reggae tunes mixed with rasta-fied rock and pop tunes from the 80's to today). Of course, the cocktails will be flowing, people will be dancing, and food is included with your ticket. Also included is a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of many great prizes, including Red Sox tickets, restaurant gift certificates, and salon gift certificates.
WE WILL BE BACK IN TIME FOR GAME 7 of the NBA Finals! We all know the Celtics are going to take the next 2 games, but on the slim chance there is a game 7, we will be back in time for it. The boat is docking at 8:50, and we will be off the boat by 9:00. I can't think of a better way to pre-game, can you?
$50 tickets include a 3-hour private charter, food, the live band, and a raffle ticket. All proceeds will be going to The August Scholars program. August Scholars was started by The Learning Project Elementary School and is designed for children from Boston who have limited access to strong summer programs, but need an academic boost over the summer. This is an excellent program, that could use our help. If you're going to party, why not do it for a great cause!
