A Community of Professionals Ages 21-45 Brought Together By Events

Would anyone be interested in winning a Kindle from BYPA? Or how about a Google Android tablet?

we're putting together a new event for which we plan to give away some cool prizes. We'd like to know what things people would be most interested in winning. Here is a brief list of possibilities:

1) plane tickets

2) Kindle

3) Google Android tablet

4) camera

5) watch

6) jewelry

7) dinner for two

8) luxury hotel stay

Also, would the potential to win something like this incentivize you to purchase tickets to an event? (of course, a cool event you might already like to go to, like a bar crawl or networking event.)

Hi guys and girls! For me, the plane tickets, dinner for 2, or the hotel stay would be the most appealing. I feel that so many people already have an android phone, or blackberry, camera, and watch/jewelry, etc.. but who doesn't want free plane tickets or a free dinner?! I think those would be the most universally appealing. It would definitely incentivize me to purchase tickets if I was on the fence. Thanks!

Having prizes associated with an event would certainly encourage people to buy tickets...and it could help BYPA with their head counts if the concept was "tickets purchased in advance of xyz event (versus at-the-door) qualify you to be entered into a prize drawing for _____." For me, the best prizes would be: dinner for 2, plane tickets, or a luxury hotel stay.
