Get More Involved With The BYPA Information Meeting (Not a lot of committment!)

BYPA is looking for 20 committee members to join our new Action Committees of the Board of Advisors.  Lots of benefits without tons of time commitment!

Benefits: help direct the organization, plan events, and meet a lot of great people and make new connections and friendships - plus it's a great resume builder!  You'll also get in free to lots of our great events!

Requirements: Time committment: About 2-4 hours per month, attendance at one meeting every other month or as your team sees fit to meet its goals.

What you will do on the Committee:  You will choose which Action Committee* to join: Special Interest Events, Staple Events, Signature Events and Operations.  Each Event Action Committee will plan, promote and run its own events, under the direction of the Executive Committee Members of the Board of Advisors.  The Operations Team will handle Advisory Committee volunteers, staffing of events, Marketing and Promotions, and other BYPA goals as the VP of Operations sees fit. 

If you have applied before because you want to be involved, but thought it was too much of a commitment, this might be the time to take another look!

*Action Committees:

Special Interest Events - Handles Neighborhood events and other Member Only Events, as well as special interest events like: couples' events, Dog Days, Hikes, Horseback Riding, etc.  These are events which are attended by 50 or fewer BYPA members on average.

Staple Events - Handles Mixers such as Single Mingle, Networking Mixers, Happy Hours, Bar Crawls, etc.  These are events that are attended by approximately 50-100 BYPA members on average.

Signature Events - Helps to plan, promote and execute our large events, such as our Anniversary Bash, 4th of July Bash, Halloween Bash and New Years Eve.  These events are attended by 200+ BYPA members on average.

Operations - Operations supports our events by staffing events, handling customer service, PR and recruitment, serving as BYPA Ambassadors, Marketing and Promotions and filling in where needed.
