Event Description

Join us for an away Sox game on the big screens, plus some Fenway Franks, nachos and beer!

We'll have 10 2oz tastings of all beers on tap, more tastings by sponsors, plus a great Fenway buffet to enjoy while watching the game. The current beers on tap include (but are subject to change):

Sam Seasonal
Sam Adams Boston Lager
Miller Lite
Long Trail Ale
Blue Moon
Stella
Harpoon IPA
Pabst Blue Ribbon
Additional Sam Adams tastings!

Sponsors

Sam Adams is on board to sponsor this event! Sam Adams reps will be at the event offering more tastings and Sam Adams swag! Sam will be having guests tasting severak different styles of beers, and teaching them the difference--describing the different hops and spices etc.--its a great learning experience!

Long Trail will also be sponsoring the event! Long Trail reps will be sampling their variety 12 pack as well as their small batch beers. They'll have some bumper stickers and keychains, etc., first come first served so get there early!

More info about the event: More beers may be added and prizes tbd as sponsors are added - event description will be updated as we get closer to the date. 100% of the net proceeds of this event will benefit the charity FROMP, and the re-building of a local playground. About the bar: The Pour House is one of the most popular establishments in Boston - with 17 flat screen TVs and 22oz ice-cold brewskies for about $5. Red Sox will be playing the Marlins at 7:10pm. Parking and The T: Parking is available on the street, and the Hynes Auditorium Garage is $14 if you enter after 4pm and leave by 6am. The closest T Station is Hynes on the Green Line.

There are several events, such as the South Boston Neighborhood Night in July, that are free for members only, and several that are discounted for members, such as the Single Mingle, and the Bar Crawl, both in June. If the event does not mention that it is free for members, then you must buy a ticket to attend.
