5 Minute Networking: Survey Networking

Want to meet new potential business contacts in a low-key, no-pressure environment? Then come to The Boston Young Professionals Associations 5 Minute networking events. We will match you up with between 5 and 10 potential business contacts who match your survey answers, so you are more likely to meet someone you will be interested in working with!

How it works: You sit at a table with a young professional member of BYPA and chat for 5 minutes, and move through the crowd every 5 minutes meeting someone new. Then if you want, you'll exchange information and connect later with your new potential business contacts! In this special survey networking event, we will be matching those who register in advance with potential contacts based on the survey questions answered when tickets are purchased. Although we can never guarantee a match, this will make it far more likely that you will have your 5 minute contacts with professionals that you are more likely to be interested in connecting with in the future! When your mini networking sessions are over, there will be some free-networking time to meet those with whom you were not matched. (Those who do not register in advance will be randomly placed in the dating pool, as we will not have the opportunity to match them based on survey answers. This is why we highly recommend registering in advance!)

Your ticket includes:

A formatted networking event with a great chance to connect with up to 80 single young professional business contacts
Event is cash bar

Dress: Casual, business casual or work attire is appropriate. Business Cards: Please bring them if you have them. It will help make it easier to connect later and exchange information. Timeliness: Please be respectful of others and arrive on time. Registration will open at 6:30. Please arrive between 6:30 and 6:45pm so we can match everyone up and get started with networking sessionals promptly at 6:45pm.

Tickets: Tickets are $10 for Early Birds and $15 for General Admission in advance, and $20 for Last Call and all at the event if not sold out. Capacity for this event is 80 professionals.
